Notice of the First "Friendship Cup" English Speech Contest for International Students at NPU International College

春发其华，秋收其实，带路十年，互联互通，各国人民共享发展成果。我校广大国际学生作为深化教育、科技领域合作的受益者，对当今中国科学技术创新、陕西城市发展变化及我校“公诚勇毅、三实一新”的校风校训深有感悟。

我院拟举办“十年带路共奋进，圆梦中国创未来”主题演讲比赛，为国际学生搭建文明交流互鉴、讲述中国故事和丝路情缘的舞台，助力多元梦想的实现。

Spring is a season of blossoming, and autumn is a time of harvest. Over the past decade since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was proposed,created platforms for international economic cooperation. As the beneficiaries of deepening cooperation in education, science and technology, our international students are supposed to delve a deep understanding of China's scientific and technological innovations, Shaanxi's urban development and our university's spirit of "Loyalty，Integrity，Courage and Perseverance" and " Strong Preparation，Diligent Effort，Practical Attitude，and Creative Innovation".

“Friendship Cup” Speech Contest, focusing on "Ten Years on the Belt and Road, Dreaming of China and Creating the Future", will set a stage for international students to communicate and learn from each other, tell the story of China and the Silk Road, to help them fulfill their diversified dreams.

五、比赛内容 Contents of the competition

1.演讲以“十年带路共奋进，圆梦中国创未来”为主题，围绕留学生活的真实感悟和求学道路上的成长与收获，结合所学专业与社会实践经历，以及个人未来的发展规划与梦想，自行拟定题目；

Based on "Ten Years Growth with the Belt & Road, Fulfilling Your China Dream and Leaping into the Future", the speech contest focuses on the true feelings of study life in NPU, the growth and harvest during this process, combining with majors and social practice experience, as well as personal future development and dreams. Self-determined and appropriate title.

2.演讲稿件必须是本人原创，字数不超过1000词，决赛稿件需要与初赛视频录制的内容大致相同；

No plagiarism, or you will be regarded as malpractice, with word count less than 1000 words, and the final speech transcript should be almost same as the content of the video recording in preliminary round.

3.演讲时间需控制在3分钟以内；

No more than 3 minutes.

4.选手可以根据演讲内容准备视频或演示文稿（Slides）；

Related videos and slides can be provided by candidates.

5.视频要求：专业设备或手机拍摄均可，建议横屏录制；视频分辨率建议为1280*720或以上，格式为MP4、MOV；请以“学号+名字”的形式对视频文件进行命名。

Video requirements:

shoot by professional devices or mobile phone

horizontal screen recording;

Video resolution: 1280 * 720 or above

Format:MP4, MOV

Please name the video in the form of "student number + name".

6.除演讲文稿、演讲视频之外，选手报名参加初赛时还需提交1分钟自我介绍视频。请参照初赛演讲视频录制要求进行拍摄。

In addition to the speech transcript and speech video, candidates are required to submit a 1-minute self-introduction video when registering for the preliminary round. The recording requirements are refer to the preliminary round.
