关于本科生选课人工补选的工作说明
Instructions on Manual Course Selection for Undergraduate Students
各学院/同学们：
Dear international students:
2017-2018学年春季学期本科生人工补选课程即将开始，本学期人工补选课程将采取线上+线下结合的申请方式，为了保证同学们顺利补选课程，现将有关事项作如下说明：
The Manual Course Selection for spring semester during 2017-2018 academic year is just about to begin, the application for manual course selection in this semester will be filled in combination of online + offline modes, the relevant matters are hereby described as follows in order to ensure that the students can successfully complete the course selection application:
第一阶段：
The First Phase:
1. 申请时间：2018.2.25--2018.3.2（第一周）
1. Application date: February 25, 2018—March 2, 2018 (The first week of the semester)
2.申请方式：线上申请。
2. Application mode: online application
3.操作方法：通过个人账号密码登录教务系统—我的学业—人工补选申请进行操作。
3. Operation method: log into the academic administration portal system using the personal account and password - My study - manual course selection application.
4.审批原则：人工补选课程根据申请的先后顺序进行审批，实行先到先得原则。
4. Approval principles: The application will be approved according to the sequential order and follow the FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE principle.
5.申请范围：所有有课容量的课程。
5. Application scope: The Courses which have class capacity (class capacity isn’t full)
6.注意事项：如果因课程冲突等其他情况无法进行在线申请的同学请于第二阶段进行补选申请。
6. Precautions: the students who cannot apply online due to course conflict or other circumstances should apply offline and follow the second phase.
第二阶段：
The Second Phase:
1. 申请时间：2018.3.5--2018.3.9（第二周）
1. Application date: March 5, 2018-- March 9, 2018 (the second week)
2.申请方式：线下申请（提交纸质版本科生学业修读申请表）。
2. Application mode: offline application (submit an application form of the academic course for undergraduates in paper version).
3.申请范围：仍有课容量的课程。
3. Application scope: the courses still with capacity (has space in class).
4.申请条件：冲突课程不允许超过50%且须有课容量。
4. Application condition: the conflict classes must not be more than 50% and only the courses have capacity to take more students.
5.申请流程：由本人填写本科生学业修读申请表，将纸质版的申请表交至所在校区的学生注册大厅；
5. Application process: the application form of the academic course for undergraduates should be filled personally, and the Printed copy of the application form should be submitted to the student registration Center of the campus where the student belongs to.
6.注意事项：本阶段是常规人工补选的最后阶段，请同学们注意补选时间。
6. Precautions: The students should pay attention to the course selection time.
第三阶段：
The Third Phase:
1.申请条件：因休学、复学等原因导致错过正常选课时间但仍需补选的课程。
1. Application conditions: The courses which still require supplementary selection due to missing the normal course selection time because of suspension of school, returning to school and other reasons.
2.申请时间：第三周起至拟申请的课程进度过半之前。
2. Application date: From the third week till the completion of more than half of the course to be applied.
3.申请方式：线下申请（须纸质版本科生学业修读申请表）。
3. Application mode: offline application (the application form of the academic course for undergraduates must be in printed version).
4.申请流程：由本人填写本科生学业修读申请表，经任课老师和所在学院同意并签字盖章（因其他原因造成的未选课情况还应提供相应的证明材料），将纸质版的申请表及相关材料交至所在校区的学生注册大厅。
4. Application process: the application form of the academic course for undergraduates should be filled personally with the approval, signature and seal from the teacher and the school (the corresponding supporting evidence should be provided in the circumstance that the courses are not selected on time), and the paper version of the application form and the related data should be submitted to the student registration center of the campus where the student belongs to.
5.注意事项：本阶段补选的课程须仍有课容量且冲突部分不超过50%、课程进度未过半。
5. Precautions: the courses at this stage must still have the capacity, the conflict part should not exceed 50%, and no more than half way of the completion progress of the course should be completed.
