Q1 ：汉语言项目，预科项目什么时候可以申请？

When can I apply for the Chinese language program or International foundation program?

A：目前我校秋季汉语言项目、预科项目都是开放申请状态，可以随时在线申请，春季入学网上报名截止时间为2022年12月18日。春季学期上课时间为3月至7月。

At present, the application system for the Chinese language program and the International foundation program is open. Students can apply online at any time.

The deadline for spring semester online application is Dec 18, 2022.

There is no language proficiency requirement for Chinese language program and zero-base International foundation program, but applicants need to have high school graduation certificate or above. More requirements please check refer to https://studyat.nwpu.edu.cn/info/1093/2122.htm

Q3 ：我学过一些汉语，想提升汉语水平，应该如何申请？

I have learned Chinese, and I want to improve it, so how can I apply?

A：在项目申请阶段，依然选择汉语言项目（Chinese Language Program），待入学报到以后，汉语中心将根据申请人的实际汉语水平进行分班测试。

In the application phase, you still need to choose the Chinese Language Program. After registration, NPU Chinese Language Center will conduct a level test and divide classes according to your actual Chinese proficiency.

Q4 ：学习汉语言项目能拿到奖学金吗？

Can I get a scholarship to study Chinese language?

A：申请秋季汉语言项目或预科项目学习期限达一学年者，可申请西安市“一带一路”外国留学生奖学金，共计10000元的资助。经我校组织面试评审通过、上报西安市政府获批后，方可授予。西安市“一带一路”申请对象仅为“一带一路”沿线国家学生。

For the applicants who apply for one year Chinese language program or International foundation program, students can apply for Xi'an City "The Belt and Road' International Students Scholarship. The scholarship can only be granted after passing the interview organized by NPU and being approved by Xi'an Government. Only applicants from countries along the Belt and Road can apply for Xi'an City "The Belt and Road' International Students Scholarship.
