专业介绍 Program Overview

工程力学专业(土木工程特色班)依托“力学”与“土木工程”交叉学科优势,以力学理论为基础,紧密结合当前前沿土木工程领域的复杂结构设计、材料性能分析与结构防护技术。西北工业大学力学学科为国家重点学科,拥有力学一级学科博士点及博士后流动站,在大型基础设施建造、智能材料与结构领域具有显著特色。本专业旨在培养掌握扎实力学基础、精通土木工程技术、具备创新能力和国际视野的复合型工程人才,服务于现代城市建设与重大基础设施工程。

The Engineering Mechanics program (Special Program of Civil Engineering) leverages the interdisciplinary strengths of "Mechanics" and "Civil Engineering," grounded in mechanics theory and closely integrated with complex structural design, material performance analysis, and structural protection technologies in the advanced civil engineering nowadays. Mechanics discipline of Northwestern Polytechnical University is a National Key Discipline, offering doctoral programs and postdoctoral research stations in Mechanics, exceling in large-scale infrastructure construction and smart materials/structures. This program aims to cultivate versatile engineering talents with solid mechanical foundations, expertise in civil engineering technologies, innovative capabilities, and global perspectives, serving modern urban development and major infrastructure projects.

Scientific Literacy and Social Responsibility: Cultivate rigorous scientific ethics, engineering professionalism, and social responsibility, with a focus on sustainable development and improving human living environments through engineering.

Engineering Practice Competence: Apply mechanics theories and civil engineering techniques to solve complex design and analysis challenges under extreme loading scenarios in building structures, bridges, tunnels, and geotechnical engineering.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Lead or contribute to multidisciplinary teams, achieving efficient communication and collaborative innovation in large-scale engineering projects.

就业方向 Career Destinations

毕业生可在建筑设计与施工企业、交通与市政工程部门、科研院所从事结构设计、工程检测、灾害防护等技术研发与管理工作;亦可攻读力学、土木工程、结构工程等方向硕士/博士学位,或进入国际工程咨询、智能建造等领域发展。

Graduates may pursue roles in architectural design/construction firms, transportation/municipal engineering sectors, or research institutions, engaging in structural design, engineering inspection, disaster prevention, and technical management. They may also pursue master’s/doctoral degrees in Mechanics, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering, or enter international engineering consulting and smart construction fields.
