专业简介Program Overview
西北工业大学生物技术专业依托生命学院开展学生培养工作。生物技术专业侧重于应用基础研究和应用技术开发，是将基础理论成果转化为具有应用价值的技术和产品的枢纽与桥梁，主要面向国民经济等相关领域的重大需求，培养具有坚实数理基础、综合科学素质优秀，专业能力拔尖的未来生物学领军人才。专业方向主要包括生物化学与分子生物学、细胞生物学、微生物学和特殊环境生物学等。
The Biotechnology major at Northwestern Polytechnical University relies on the School of Life Sciences to carry out student training work. The biotechnology major focuses on applied basic research and applied technology development, serving as a hub and bridge for transforming basic theoretical achievements into valuable technologies and products. It is mainly aimed at meeting the major demands in related fields such as the national economy, cultivating future biological leaders with solid mathematical foundations, excellent comprehensive scientific qualities, and top-notch professional abilities. The main professional directions include biochemistry and molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, and special environmental biology.

就业方向Career Destinations
毕业生能够承担工业、医疗、食品、环保等行业企业和行政部门的相关应用研究、技术开发、生产和行政管理工作，或继续在国内外顶尖大学和科研院所攻读本专业及相关专业的硕博士学位。
Graduates are competent to undertake the related applied research, technology development, production and administrative management of enterprises and administrative departments in industries such as industry, medical treatment, food and environmental protection, or continue to pursue master's or doctoral degrees in their respective majors and related fields at top universities and research institutes both domestically and internationally.
