关于申请 2018年“优秀来华留学生奖学金”的通知

2018 Scholarship Program for Excellent International Students

接教育部通知，2018年优秀来华留学生奖学金项目启动评选工作，现将有关评选事项通知如下：

In response to the notice of the Ministry of Education, the 2018 Scholarship Program for Excellent International Students in China started the selection process. We will notify you of the relevant selection items as follows.

一、名额及标准Quotas and standards

1. 我校本科二年级（含）以上或研究生二年级（含）以上的全日制学历生（含奖学金生和自费生）。

2. 学校可推荐名额不超过3个，由CSC组织专家进行评审。

3. 奖学金标准：一次性奖励本科生18000元/人，研究生30000元/人。

1. Undergraduates, masters, and PhDs (scholarship and self-paid students) who have studied in his/her major program for more than 1 year can apply the scholarship.

2. The university would recommend 3 students for nationwide selection. The final selection would be conducted by China Scholarship Council.

3. Undergraduates: 18000 RMB per person, Masters and PhDs: 30000 RMB per person.

二、评选标准Selection criteria

1. 对华态度友好，在华表现优秀。

2. 遵纪守法，身心健康，全面发展。

3. 学习成绩优异，具备较强的学习和研究能力。

4. 除以上基本条件外，符合如下条件之一者，学校将优先推荐：

1). 科研能力突出，学术成果丰硕；

2). 积极参加学校或社会的实践活动，在中华优秀传统文化传播或促进中外人文交流方面起到突出作用，或在公益事业中有突出贡献；

3). 已有事迹报道或获得重大荣誉者。

5. 同等条件下，家庭经济条件困难者优先。

1. Being friendly to China and performing excellently in China.

2. Obeying the law, being physically and mentally healthy, and developing in an all-roun way.

3. Being academically excellent and having strong learning and research ability.

4. In addition to the above basic conditions, the school will give priority to those who meet the following two conditions:

1). The scientific research ability is outstanding and the academic achievements are plentiful.

2). Actively participating in the practice of the school or society; playing a prominent role in the promotion of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries; have outstanding contributions in public welfare.

3). Excellent performance reported by the media, or received great honors.

5. Under the same conditions, those with family economic difficulties are preferred.

三、申请程序Application Procedures

1. 个人申请（5月25日-29日16:00）

2. 面试答辩和学校评审（5月30日）

3. 校内公示（5月31日-6月6日）

4. 基金委审定（预计2018年年底公布最终结果并发放奖学金）

1. Self- application (May 25 - May 29, 16:00)

2. School Review (May 30)

3. Public Announcement (May 31 - June 6)

4. Approved by the Fund Committee (final results are expected to be released in November or December).

四、申请材料Application materials

1. 个人申请表（见附件1）

2. 在校期间的成绩单原件；

3.《我的留华故事》一篇（题目不限，用中文或英文撰写），字数不少于800字；

4. 所发表文章的检索证明、录用通知或参与发表专著的证明材料；

5. 各类国家级、省市级比赛的获奖证明或专利证明；

6. 担任学生干部或社团职务的证明；

7. 其他有突出表现的证明材料。

1. Application Form（See Appendix 1）.

2. Original transcripts.

3. An essay written by you titled My Story of Studying in China, no less than 800 words; either English or Chinese is acceptable.

4. Article retrieval certificate or materials verifying your publication.

5. Certificates or awards of various national- and municipal- level competitions.

6. Certificates of being student cadre or a member of a student organization.

7. Other evidential materials for your outstanding performance.

五、申请办法Application method

请符合申请条件的留学生于2018年5月29日（星期二）16:00前，将完整的申请材料送交至友谊校区留学生管理办公室，毅字楼715室。

*逾期不再受理申请。

Foreign students who meet the requirements of the application shall send the completed application materials to International Student Office（Yizi Building, 715 room）of Youyi campus before 16:00 on May 29, 2018.

* Late applications will no longer be accepted.
